(Press Release) The Future of Muslim Travel is Muzbnb

Washington, DC – January 23, 2017

Muzbnb™, a startup faith-based homestay network announced today that it has pre-launched its online platform and expects to begin listing properties by spring of this year; it will be fully launched by summer 2017. The company encourages travel, adventure, and the building of a global community where Muslims feel comfortable and accepted while traveling. Muzbnb™ allows Muslims the ability to host and book homes that are accommodating to their Islamic needs for leisure or business travel anywhere in the world.

According to Pew Research Center, there are about 1.6 billion Muslims globally, approximately 23% of the world’s population. Additionally, the global Muslim travel market is projected to be worth over $220 billion by 2020, according to a new study from MasterCard and CrescentRating.

“The incredible size of the market combined with the special needs of Muslims and the global political climate have created an environment where we think that a travel platform focusing on this population is not only necessary and timely, but integral to positive community building,” stated Hadi Shakur, CEO and Co/Founder.

Muzbnb™, is a privately held company headquartered in Washington, D.C.
